In November 2023, the Salem Group orchestrated the SEE Change 2 Days Advocacy Event, a landmark initiative aimed at bolstering social entrepreneurship in Lebanon. This event, a collaborative effort with Oxfam and partners, spotlighted the urgent need for sustainable social businesses and an integrated entrepreneurial ecosystem. Over two transformative days at USJ Ashrafie, Beirut, we united over 7000 community members, policymakers, and social business advocates to pave the way for economic resilience and social innovation.
From inspiring TED-talk sessions to practical workshops, the event served as a crucible for ideas, strategies, and collaborations, igniting change across technical, social, and economic levels. Highlights included a dynamic market fair, insightful panel discussions, and the launch of the SEEN platform, each designed to foster knowledge exchange and fortify community ties.
